50 UAE Students to be dispatched for Nuclear Energy Training in Korea

The Institute of Applied Technology (IAT) in collaboration with the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) and Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), will dispatch 50 UAE students (10 July – 7 August) to receive training in nuclear power plants in South Korea. This will be the first batch to be sent for training in this domain.

Dr. Abdullatif Al Shamsi, IAT Director General, announced the start of offering nuclear energy courses to all IAT grade 12 students starting next year. He also indicated that there will be an educational path for students to learn renewable energy, gas, petroleum and peaceful nuclear energy.
