Within the Industrial Internship Training @ IAT (IIT@IAT) students in grade 11 get the chance to gain first work integrated experience which helps stimulate and enhance the academic learning by a “real life” component (learning by doing). These learning experiences will significantly impact their careers, in partnership with national and international employers.

INTERNSHIP ABROAD

The Internship Training can also be done abroad. Students with good marks and a good performance will get the chance to be sent abroad (like Germany, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc.) to gain first work integrated experiences.

Fazaa and Internship

The industrial internship experience counts for 30 hours of community service.

Example:

You are placed in a company for 4 weeks to get your first work integrated experience; this means that you will get the credit of 30 hours for the Fazaa program.

The Internship Training period will be during the summer break: 26 June to 25 August 2011.

Workshops will be conducted to prepare the students for interviewing; resume preparation, working with teams, and community involvement.

The Internship training has in store many benefits for students, companies and IAT.
